Command line

nvda-testkit has two subcommands. nvda-testkit --version prints the installed version.

provision

nvda-testkit provision --channel stable --portable-path ./nvda

Resolves a launcher for --channel (stable, beta, alpha, or a pinned version; default stable), downloads it into the launcher cache, and prints its channel, version, URL, and SHA-1. --portable-path <dir> also unpacks a portable copy there.

doctor

nvda-testkit doctor [--full]

Checks the platform, the spy add-on bundle, the launcher cache, and that every channel resolves. Exits non-zero when anything fails. --full additionally downloads the stable launcher and creates a portable copy (Windows only).

Launcher cache

Launchers live in ~/.cache/nvda-testkit. Set NVDA_TESTKIT_CACHE to relocate the directory, for example to a path a CI cache step restores.
